What the SoulCollage® Facilitator Training Covers
  • How to facilitate SoulCollage® card-making, including ways to support self-esteem and avoid competition and self-criticism.
  • How to implement a therapeutic structure which both protects and encourages self-discovery, without the facilitator doing therapy.
  • Ways to adapt the process to different individual issues and different populations.
  • Demonstration of ceremonial work with SoulCollage® cards.

Prerequisites

This program is offered in English.

No degrees or certifications are necessary to take this training.
Preparation includes the following prerequisites:

  1. Reading SoulCollage® Evolving by Seena Frost.
  2. Listening to Seena Frost’s two CDs - Introduction to SoulCollage® and Facilitating SoulCollage® in Groups.
  3. Having a working knowledge of the SoulCollage® process by making a few cards in each suit (one card in the Companion Suit is sufficient).  It is highly recommended that you begin doing readings with your cards (See pp. 103-118 in SoulCollage® Evolving), which will help enrich your training experience.
  4. Attend a workshop with a SoulCollage® Facilitator or take a recorded Fundamentals of SoulCollage® video course which will prepare you for the Training.
It is not a prerequisite, but it will be helpful at some point to listen to each of the CDs in Seena’s series, "Your SoulCollage® Cards."
Accommodations
This offering of the SoulCollage® Facilitator Training is in San Mateo County. Accommodations are single rooms and shared dormitory-style bathrooms. Each room is cozy and equipped with desk, chair and sink. Mercy Center prepares healthy, tasty meals (vegetarian options), using local products and receiving rave reviews. Mercy Center is located on a 40-acre parcel in a quiet residential location, only 10 minutes from SF International Airport, 5 minutes from BART/CalTrain station and accessible via Hwy 280 and 101.
















Schedule & What to Bring
The Training begins with registration from 9:00-9:45am, (Training begins promptly at 10:00am on Thursday) and ends at 1:00pm, after lunch on Sunday. Mornings begin at 9:00am and end at 6:00pm. In order to receive a completion certificate, all sessions must be attended, so please make your plans to permit FULL attendance at all sessions.

Be sure to bring all of your SoulCollage® cards. Please bring images both for yourself and to share and/or bring some magazines to share. Mirabai will provide some images as well. If you are using 5 x 8-inch cards there will be blank cards provided. If your cards are another size, bring some blanks. Please bring at least one glue stick and your favorite scissors. (Don’t take scissors in your carry-on-if you fly!)



Payment Information & Registration
Register by paying the full tuition of $795 (Early Bird Fee-price good until midnight March 31, 2020) or a $350 deposit to reserve your space.  After March 31, 2020, full tuition is $850.00.  Full payment of your tuition is due by midnight September 15, 2020.

Accommodation fees are $540 single (includes 3 nights/Thurs-Sat and 10 meals), $300 commuter (includes 4 lunches).  Accommodation fees must be paid by September 15, 2020.  These fees will be collected separately, and after the full tuition is collected.

Trained Facilitators who wish to take the Training again will receive 50% discount off full price tuition of $850.  These spaces are limited.  Please contact Mirabai before registering. mail@yoursoulscompass.com

Cancellation Policy
1. Training Tuition
A full refund, less $150 processing fee, is given if the cancellation is received on or before August 15, 2020. This processing fee applies to all payments, whether a deposit or a payment in full.

No refund or credit is given for cancellations after August 15, 2020, or if you fail to attend, or if you leave the event early, or if you miss part of a session and cannot receive a certificate.

You may also apply a tuition credit, and avoid paying the processing fee,  toward a new SoulCollage® training led by Mirabai Joan Kolari and held within the next 12 months in Europe or the United States. If the training fee is increased in the future, you will pay the difference between the new fee and your credit on account.  If you must make a last-minute cancellation, you also have the option of offering your payment toward tuition for another, as long as they have met the training prerequisites.

2.  Accommodations
A refund of your room payment, less a $30 processing fee, is given for cancellations received on or before August 15, 2020 unless we are able to register another participant to fulfill your room reservation.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This training is required for a person to call themselves a “SoulCollage® Facilitator and their groups  to call themselves “SoulCollage® Groups”.

After completion of the SoulCollage® Training you will receive a certificate of completion and may use the SoulCollage® trademark in doing individual or group work according to the “Principles of SoulCollage®”. Continuing Education credit (24 hours) for this program will be awarded by Commonwealth Educational Seminars (CES) through SoulCollage, Inc.  Please complete your registration and indicate whether you will want CEUs and if so, for what license you will want them.  We can provide 24 CEUs for the following licenses if you have arranged this with us in advance.  Contact mail@yoursoulscompass.com
